I'm so excited....

I never was much good at keeping secrets!

Well congrats to Chrissie, Gill and Pinny, who all guessed correctly :although I did point out the huge clue in my last post!!

We entered a draw ages ago (before Christmas) with the Caravan Club. It is the club Centenary this year, and the Queen is holding a Garden Party to celebrate. We received a letter yesterday saying that we were to be amongst those people invited! How posh is that?

The official communication will come some time towards the end of June, which will give us our 'instructions', but I do know that hats are expected of the ladies (best excuse I'll have this year!) and obviously Phil will look gorgeous in a suit. Not sure I can take a camera in, but I will definitely scrap the event!

So, darlings, if you want me on 23rd July, I shan't be here: you'll have to leave a message with the Butler.

Toodlepip.

Two can play that game...

I fear I may just have 'out-poshed' Lady Willicombe of Patio, the Queen of teasing people by leaving them clues and then not telling them stuff!

I have a secret. A very exciting secret. And just to get my own back on you Chrissie, I shall see if people can guess what it is, and leave you dangling!!!!

Okay, clues? Nope, not yet. Oh, okay: it's something that I never in a million years dreamt would happen to me. See, that narrows it down for you?

Any ideas?

I should be so....

lucky, lucky lucky lucky!!!!

What can I say? I have recently returned from a Scrappers Unlimited 'Time Out': three days of scrapping, chatting and eating chocolate. Lots of chocolate. Child-free (apart from the rather gorgeous 'other people's children' who sat with us and brightened our days), meals provided: heck, even my bed was made for me every morning!

It was wonderful to finally meet people that I have chatted to online for so long, and to realise that each one of them is even nicer 'in real life'. Without exception, people were friendly and encouraging, and the classes amazing. The hotel was set in beautiful gardens, amid fantastic scenery, the food was great, and the bed verrrry comfortable (shame I spent so little time in it!!).

Have only just uploaded my photos, but this one has to be one of my favourite 'non-people' ones: spring has most definitely sprung in Wales!
